ABOUT
Tim is an exceptionally passionate and dedicated mountaineer with a huge love of adventure. Growing up in the Scottish mountains was the ideal building blocks to progress to the Alps and greater ranges where he has spent lots of time on exploratory expeditions. Tim holds the IFMGA Mountain Guide qualification, which is the top mountaineering qualification in the world and is the only qualification that allows you to guide in the Alps. He also holds a BSc in Earth Science from The University of Glasgow. Whether you are wanting to climb on the Scottish sea cliffs with the waves booming below or ski tour through Arctic Norway, Tim can guide you through it.

You are in safe hands with a guide who has a broad range of experience that spans over a decade. As a junior competitor Tim placed 4th in the Youth Ice Climbing World Championships, but his real love is taking part in technical expeditions to the Greater Ranges where he has climbed up to 7000m on new routes and unclimbed peaks. In Scotland Tim has added his own routes to the Scottish Highlands and continues to push himself in Summer and Winter. Tim received the 2020 Youth Award for Excellence in Mountain Culture at the Fort William Mountain Festival and you can watch his video below. Then in 2023 Tim and his climbing partner Paul were awarded the highly prestigious Piolet D'Or award for their ascent of Jugal Spire in Nepal.
You can be sure to be out with a competent, friendly and fun guide.

"When working, Tim aims to share his sense of adventure with his clients through chasing those magical moments in the mountains. Whether thats through an alpine bivi or watching the sun rise from a wild ridge. Connecting with people in incredible places is whats it's all about."
