UK GUIDING & INSTRUCTION
Scotland has a wealth of brilliantly rugged ridges and classic rock and ice climbs. From Ben Nevis ice gullys to remote Cairngorm rock routes.

The Black Cuillin on Skye are some of the most impressive mountains in the British Isles where a traverse of the ridge is the biggest mountaineering challenge. This is arranged in a 3 day minimum booking, but the longer the booking the more preparation we can do and the greater the chance of a clear weather window. The ridge is attempted on the best two weather days and can be done with no more than 2 clients at a time. This is because of the large amount of complex terrain that needs to be covered at a fast pace. A traverse is aimed at experienced mountaineers, this should not be your first route in the Cuillin. Ideally you will have joined us for a few days out previously to assess your ability.

Alternatively try a multi-pitch mountain route. Ardverikie Wall, Square Face and Centurion are just some of Scotlands finest mountain rock routes. If you're feeling very adventurous why not tick off a sea stack? Scotland is world renowned for its winter climbs such as Point 5 Gully, a winter traverse of the Cuillin Ridge or technical mixed climbing on Beinn Eight. There are many more that you may have long aspired to and we would love to help you climb them.

The max ratio possible will depend on the route of choice.
If you climb indoors but wish to make the progression to outdoors we can teach you skills to do so safely. You may already have some experience climbing outside, but have a few questions or feel you are lacking knowledge in a certain area? Even if it's a very specific area such as rescue scenarios. Or if you would like some coaching on how to push your grade we would love to be apart of your journey. These skills take both time and practice to master. As such, we recommend booking several days over a few months with a consolidation period between. Each session will build upon what you know, while you put the skills to use in your own time between. We run all rock teaching days in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio so that you can get the most out of you time and ensure an optimal learning enviroment. If you already have a regular climbing partner, then coming along as a pair and learning together will make you a stronger team.

We are always happy to lend a hand with planning logistics such as recommending places to sleep & eat, so let us know if you need a hand.

In addition to the costs listed below clients are also responsible for any fuel costs calculated at 45p/mile. This includes the miles for the guide to get from home to the meeting point and back.
